Title: Childrens Play Equipment
Post by: nicofloretti on February 01, 2008, 09:26:07
Hi,

I am having difficulty putting a climbing frame on my allotment for my son to play on. The difficulty is that the associations public liability insurer says that it would not cover accidents on a piece of play equipment. I have however waived the associations liability for any accident on my plot when I signed the tennancy agreement.

Has anyone got any useful or silly advice?

thanks

Nico

Nico,
Buy some small garden tools for your son and get him to help you , I'm sure the climbing frame would be defunct once he see's you digging away, :)

Other children from the area may play on it when you're not there.
They may not be so careful when running over your crops.

Give him a little area to grow his own stuff. (and get him a little watering can). :D

Absolutely. Without question possibly the best option available. (And you wont lose any growing space ;))

Dear all.

Many thanks for all the help.

My son is currently occupying more and more of the allotment with his raised beds. My growing space is diminishing!!!!!!!
