How about this?

Cod
2 tomatoes, sliced thinly
2 slices of white bread, crusts off and whizzed into breadcrumbs
2 slices of cheddar cheese, cut into small pieces
½ small onion, finely chopped (or whizzed in processor)
Salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to Gas 4/180ºC/180ºC for fan oven.
Put the fish into a shallow ovenproof dish
Lay the slices of tomato over the fish
Mix the remaining ingredients together and sprinkle over the tomatoes
Cook for 25 mins or until fish flakes easily

Oh, good stuff there!! With our veggies, we major on this sort of thing.

Isn't Anjum a dear - just how Nigella could be??

And MINT - so underused!!

Thanks for them. The wife did'nt fancy them we ended up having them in breadcrumbs with chips and mushy peas. Kitchen now smells like The Golden Cod.

So, am I the only one who misread the title of this thread and therefore ignored it for most of the day?

Oh I'm so glad Rob has said what he did about misreading the title (as I thought it must just be me whose mind instantly went to that most unsightly piece of gentleman's clothing ;D

and then when Northener went on to say 'wife didn't fancy it'......I burst into fits of giggles and thought....'Im not surprised'!! :)   ::)
