I have been offered a green house on freecycle, but apparently its huge and theres not much glass left with it.
Is it worth my while to take it, is glass reasonably priced to replace... and how big can huge get lol.
I paid £2 per sheet of glass last year.
Is there much difference between glass and the new plastic greenhouses being marketed in the UK?

Never had a plastic greenhouse myself, though I could imagine being more susceptible to wind damage.
If its an aluminium g/h huge means you only have to build
half of it , you get a size you can manage use up what glass
there is and wont have to buy as much to make up whats missing,
Aluminium green houses are easy to scale down
and you could sell the alloy left over towards the glass.
My greenhouse lives under a huge oak tree and regularly gets a pane broken with the odd branch falling. I replace with perspex sheets and when they blow across the lawn at least they stay intact! ;D
