Have any A4A members, been by coach to the South of France, and if so how did you rate it please.
Also Has any one been on the coach /rail holiday to Scotland, we have been by car to Scotland but thought we would give the coach a try, also how did you rate it please. Thank you.
Coach to Scotland can be long and quite tiring, depending where you're going - if you have to change, don't do it! Glasgow bus station at 6 am particularly unpleasant if you're forced to wait around for the next bus. Train expensive, but I imagine much more pleasant. I presume there's a reason you can't fly?
Bupster, we can fly but we saw a holiday that you can go on three train trips, which we would love to do, the coach company arranged it all inclusive of the holiday, we are only thinking about it but it sounded so nice & A4A members are so reliable in telling you as it is , thank you for your reply , we shall take that into consideration. Cheers Rosebud.
Actually, that sounds quite nice!
Not been able to post under Bud's thread cos of time-outs, but have her private email addys, have replied in length to her...will post what I said to her/for interest to to other peeps, when boards up & running again....
Mary. Few years ago Charlie and I along with his sister and brother-in-law went on
4 trips by coach to Europe. his sister didn't think she would like it but we all thoroughly enjoyed the holidays. Admitted our holidays were not in one place but we visited France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria . Met some lovely people (still in touch with one) Were even picked up locally by coach firm. We found all accomodation was excellent (except 1)
