Title: Super looking Pebble Seeds, has anyone grown them? See picture
Post by: Jeannine on January 17, 2008, 19:36:40
Hi. I find these fascinating, these are not a bunch of different seeds, they are all off the same plants, all colours and even speckled. Whichever you plant you get a mixed lot back.Odd eh!! Pebble seeds.

That's really cool - would make for a very attractive bean salad as well.

They came with the order I sent to the bean company in the US,Purcell  Mountain Farms same place as I got the Tarbais  the Gigandes  and the Rice beans from. I bought them by the pound, guaranteed to sprout so they will obviously grow.  The postman really thought I had lost it this time. I got the box last week, very heavy, there are some in the 2008 swap parcel along with the others.XX Jeannine

that's very interesting- i've seen that site. They had lots of beans i was interested in, but they only sell in large quantities. I wasn't actually sure if they were for sowing or for eating either.

They are eating Roo, but they say they will sprout, they have a good reputation over there so I went ahead.

They will ship smaller amounts.

thanks Jeannine, I'll have another look - tho if you've just got 17 lb of seeds - your idea of "smaller" might be a bit different to mine  :D
