Title: Value Quality Seeds at 'Poundland'
Post by: mikey on January 11, 2008, 17:46:43
was in Poundland at Scunthorpe, today (Sunny Scunny to locals)

They are selling 'Carters' seeds, a brand I thought had disappeared, the address on the packets is Paignton so I guess the brand is part of the Suttons/Dobies empire.

Was in a bit of a rush, so not agood look, but Tomato Gardener's delight 140 seeds for 80 pence, sow by June 2010
Climbing French Bean 'Blue Lake' 140 seeds for £1 , sow by June 2009

Really big range Veggies and Flowers

I think that's Carter's main outlet, Mikey. As far as I remember the Poundstretcher/land chains have always stocked Carters - they're really good VFM too and no probs with their quality.

They didn't have seeds in the Solihull one but on Friday they had blueberry, raspberry and redcurrant bushes in (obviously £1 each).
