Title: How much are covers for polytunnels?
Post by: gunnerbee on January 10, 2008, 20:25:26
Just spotted three on my travels with no plastic, might go and make him an offer if the coverings are cheap enough to buy, how does it compare to buying a new polytunnel?  many thanks

Hi

I was pricing a new cover for my 12 x 25 and it worked out at about £100 which isn't bad.

there is a site on ebay I think where you have to work out how wide the tunnel is and add the length of the tunnel (in metres) and then they sell the plastic at so much a metre - sounded complicated to me - but when I looked at some samples mine would have been - I think 15 metres and it was about £6'ish a metre!

I think First Tunnels on their website sell the plastic independently - I would go there - get the telephone number - give them the dimensions and let them work it out!!

Good luck

Good luck
