Hi, below are the names of those who are in this pass the parcel, there is no room for anymore as you can see, it is a big list after only 24 hours posting.
I am hoping we can get a quick turnaround so it gets along as fast as possible.
The names are in no particular order and I am going to try keep it secret like I did on the others, so it will be a surprise when it reaches you, so ssh if you get it.
Please post on here when it arrives with you and please let me know also by PM so I can keep track of it, also it is helpful if you can post when you have actually mailed it on (but not to who), perhaps with a little clue as to where it is going. It was fun last time trying to work out who the clue referred to.
Please remember that all info you receive as to who is on the list is confidential.
I will post the day it leaves me, and chart it's progress. I am not posting it for a little while as I am waiting for seeds from the US which I would like to add in so please be patient, but it won't be longer than 2 weeks from tomorrow.
Names no order are:
1 DadnLad
2 barking dog
3 Toms Lottie
4 Natasha
5 Mikey
6 elsie
7 Lauren S

XX Jeannine
I take my hat off to youf or organising this. I am quite excited to be participating and look forward to the day the package lands on my doorstep (as and when I actually have a doorstep that is...).
Hi , this one is due to start it's journey tomorrow !! XX Jeannine
OOps I forgot the hint, mmmm ,well it is going to someone who could not be described as old , and he wears well, maybe he leads a cloistered life!!
I hope you know who you are ??????
Have fun
XX Jeannine
BUMP If you don't read this you won't know it is coming XX Jeannine
mmm, very intriguing!
Can't wait till it's my turn!
barkingdog
Many thanks for organising this Jeannine.
Regards
Ann
Posted as promised this motning..so the fun begins for real, please keep me informed on by PM and on here.
Point to ponder... would you rather know where it is going or leave it as a surprise..you decide and I wil post the order if the majority prefer me to. XX Jeannine
thanks for organising this jeannine!
my preference would be not to know the running order but for people to post cryptic clues as they send it on, as before ;D
Ok Noted, I hope the first person understood my clue, it was a bit vague!!
XX Jeannine
Yes keep me guessing Jeannine, though if the first clues anything to go by, I won't know it's me until it arrives ;D I'm hopeless at these things!!!
I opt for the guessing game. Its like the xmas stocking when I was a kiddie.
"Tap, but water doesn't come out." - Now, its a square wrapped object, smelling almost of orange...
Auntie Jeannine,
Can we stay with the cryptic clue system please
I never got one right last year .... even when the Postie delivered the parcel to me ......
Senior moments getting more frequent ;D
PS go easy with the 'Gaffer Tape'
Mikey no gaffer tape, well not much!!
So...so far you all wants it a secret, well I think that is fun, will wait till the others cast their vote too. It has just started it's long journey, carrying it's booty. Lots of time to change if we wish.
So come on who is the first one, anyone guessed who you are yet.
XX Jeannine
Yes jeannine, let it stay cryptic that is funny to do.
I agree - cryptic please - much more fun, although I've searched my brains and can't work out who the first one is! ???
Yep, another vote to keep us guessing please ???
Pass the parcel ? Have you got your finger poised over the pause button Jeannine ? ;D
I vote for cryptic please Jeannine. Finding a note saying *Parcel In Greenhouse* brightens any dull rainy day ;D
It would brighten my day as I haven't got a greenhouse ;D ...yet! ;)
Cryptic for me too ;D
barkingdog
Yes Please on the cryptic front! ;D ;D Though I haven't got a clue who it is going to first!
Cryptic please. It reallly adds to the fun.
I'm lousy at it, though.
Garjan
Well the consensus is to keep it a mystery so we will do that. First person should have it today or tomorrow so please leave a clue here when you post it on but no details about who!!
Have fun and don't forget to let me know XX Jeannine
mm, this parcel should have arrived by now and apparently hasn't. Does anyone know about problems with the mail.It went out by first class post very first thing on Monday mornin??
XX Jeannine
It is, I was trying to keep it a guessing game!! I thought the clue was pretty good I put on at the beginning of the week. ;D Anyway maybe the mail is taking a bit longer for some reason,I won't worry if the last one took 11 days, maybe something up in the mail in that area.XX Jeannine
lol, now I get it! ::)
Very good Jeannine, will try harder in future!!!
Little bits from addresses, names etc.Yours does not look easy though, I will have to think on that one a bit!!! XX Jeannine
You are teasing me you naughty boy!! By the way did you get the clue XX Jeannine
OOh I can't wait - liked the first clue, but was clueless on who it was. Glad Tom fessed up!
Thanks again Jeanine. Already had a conversation with Glosterwomble on his blog about the swap - he's in another one and envious of the fun you've added to ours! 8)

What Fun has been added ?
I did not get the first clue, then Tom fessed up .......... and I still don't get it
Senior moments are becoming more frequent just lately ;D
My excuse is it's the medication I'm on ;) ;D
Please please will someone explain 'Toms' clue
My Buddy the Wicked Witch of the North (based on t'other side o River 'Umber) must be chuckling away to herself ... ;)
Go to Tom's profile.
Mr YOUNGER lives near MONKseaton, think that's what it refers to! ;)
Oh, and cullerCOATs.
Am I right?

'I don't believe it'Off to bed with an Enid Blyton book (and an 'Ollipop), Nite Nite all ;D
PS Elsie you are too smart by 'arf
Wish that were the case, but only "got it" once I knew it was Tom! :)
We have some very clever folks on here, I thought the clue was going to be hard!!
Come to think of it there are some blooming cheeky ones too, still I suppose if your meds are out of whack and senior moments are frequent we have to be tolerant...bless.
XX Jeannine
Where did I put that gaffer tape.

Yep I sure am!!! I've just been involved in the swap that Natasha organised and it was great, I'd never done one before. I felt like a kid receiving a Christmas present!
I love the extra twist you have put on yours to keep people guessing.
Have fun. ;D

(still trying to get bits off my pinkies from last year ;)
Just to get you all going more, I have really tried to make this one very interesting, it has some very rare toms and beans in. I have been watching the chats from the last while and have tried wherever possible to pop in some that are rare or hard to find. Some are last years seed and some are this, just received. Some are new to me so am hoping we can share together. There are a few packets that are clearly marked..PLEASE SHARE.. especially the Gigandes and Tarbais beans as I wanted to make sure everyone on the list got a few, the same with some of the squash. Oh and there are several varieties of this years Okra in so am hoping many of you will join the hilarious Okra challenge.
It has always been a lot of fun before when I have done these, epsecially the two I sent out together and we had a race to see whose came back first..Go Red.Go Blue..
So keep the chat coming, it brightens the days.
As for you Mikey... I will have to think of something special to pack your stuff in the next time I send anything.. crazy glue maybe.
Shucks, I have just posted beans too..
I think I still owe you a tomato though..

Why are you so cruel to an 'old' man on medication ;)
Crazy glue indeed .......
I have enough trials and tribulations with common Sellotape (and Crisp packets), Gaffer tape, a whole Norske Saga could be written, but Crazy glue ....... Nooooooo Noooooooo please spare me this
May all your germinations be a success Oh mighty one .....
(methinks I need to brush up on my Grovel technique - lessons from Alishka maybe ?)
Anyway, back to topic .... let's have a bit more respect for 'our' (your) elders, in years on this Planet I am ahead of you, so .... simply put, I must be smarter and entitled to courtesy and deference (and no Bl**dy' Gaffer tape or Crazy Glue)

Jean 9,
Beans arrived this a.m. wonderful .... I love you ....
can we run away together ;) (or at least walk quickly ;D)
No sign of PTP but guess it was not heading for me just yet anyway ?
TTFN
The parcel is still adrift Mikey, not sure what we can do but wait, glad you liked yoour bean parcel.
Run away...I'll polish the zimmer frame!!
However, after all the spinal injections I finally got under Xray this morning I might be able to take up jogging, fingers crossed eh.
XX Jeannine
Tomslottie, I have pmd the addy to you, I think it is right although I did make a mistake on a house number this week, but that was when I wrote if down off thr PM ages ago, with the parcel I had kept all the addresses in my box and made the list up from it, so I know I didn't right it down wrong.
I am getting very concerned now , I have never had anything go missing before and I have sent out and received tons of stuff this last two weeks, but it has been a full week now and it was first class. Could you check at your local pick up place and see if it is there and they forgot to leave you a card.
Any ideas folks
XX Jeannine
J 9 and Co.
keep fingers crossed...... but don't worry just yet.
Today I received a 'padded bag', posted in Somerset on Saturday. this is good !!
Last week had a 1st class letter which took 8 days from Boston (Lincs) to North Willingham (Lincs) all of 50 miles.
Like Jeannine, (tempting the Gods here ;) but have never 'lost' a parcel, the odd letter maybe, but sometimes folks have not posted stuff when they claim they have.
Hopefully it will turn up, even if there is a mistake in the address, the Post Office Staff are not daft (I am serious, I think they provide a fantastic service, especially in Rural areas) they can deliver mail with very minimal addressing. Also I believe Jeannine said she had put her own address on the packet as a 'return to sender' address
I am debating wether to put together another one and send it off, then if the first one turns up I will ask Tom to send to back to me as is and I can put those back in my stash.
Tom said in a PM he has been to the post office and they can't do anything for two weeks but I think we we need to get this going sooner.
My addy is on the parcel , as you know if you have had swap that stated with me before I ask that you leave my addy showing so it has a home to come to.
I once did buy something off e bay that got lost, it was several years ago, the PO compensated the sender but it took 5 months.
I will start working on another one and if it hasn't shown up by Saturday I will post the second one off, with proof of posting this time. John always does with a parcel but he said he never bothers with a smaller package. We learn some things the hard way!!
I will keep you all informed.
XX Jeannine
My first one got wet in the hands of the PO and the lable came off !! good job my details where on the back as they sent it back to me :-\
Oh Oh...Dawn send me the puppy instead please....adorable :-* :-*
Hands off !! She is one from the last litter of labs i had and is now 1 year old and a cheeky little mare ;D Her name is China Doll or scutchy bum ;D I had 3 generations of my own breeding but lost the gran mother last year :'( China will have pups once she is 2 years old and has been hip and eye scored :D And yep i will keep one ;D ;D
Any news on the parcel yet?
barkingdog
Must be very bad wetter onthe pond,or it has a strong headwind.
No, well maybe cos tomslottie has sent a message that there is something at the PO for him and asked me to hold off as it might be the parcel so fingers crossed we will be back on track after tomorrow
XX Jeannine
Fingers and everything else crossed :o
Any news on the parcel !! I will have to try to get another one together if it hasn't turned up today. XX Jeannine
I think I will have to start on the second parcel as I fear the first one is lost.
I am a bit concerned that everyones address was in it so I think I will not put list in the second one and copy what someone else is doing with their parcel and post it out without a list, when it arrives PM me and I will give you the address for the next person .I will post the second one on Monday and confirm on this post that it has gone out.
I think we need as quick a turnaround as we can as we are running later than we anticipated.
If anyone has any away dates could you please let me know so I can work around them.
I thin k there will beloads in this one too, what I won't have that went out in the first one will be made up by seeds I have bought since I think, with the exception of perhaps tomatoes and squash but I think you will still be happy with it.
I will put Okra seeds in for those folks who are hoping to join the Okra challenge.
I am going to add some flower seeds that are outdated but I am told they will be OK so feel free to take them as I have many more then I can use.
Good luck , and have fun.
XX Jeannine
THE PARCEL IS READY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!All dressed and ready to leave
I hope there is "somesuch" place , with a receiver who could be a paler shade of red!!
Have fun, John said he can post it in ASDA on a Sunday, I will confirm
XX Jeannine
My, my, what a star you truly are Jeannine. You are too generous by half.
Many thanks for keeping it going from me. (and many others no doubt :D
)
Maggie Xx
Jeannine you are being very generous - I know how much time and effort, let alone expense goes into starting a parcel - so thankyou. :) Hopefully the other one will eventually turn up. :-\
I hope so, and I am expecting it to, it was very well packed so it couldn't burst open and the names were in big letters, my return address was in red and was very clear and the whole thing was covered on clear shire seal so the labels could not fall off, really odd.
Anyway no sweat we are off again, it is big parcel with loads of stuff in it so I think you will be happy.
Have you figured out who is first yet,we need to get some fun in this one now and forget the disappointment,
XX Jeannine
You are really a star,i hope the other one turn up.If it does we will have a twin round robin. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I am absolutely hopeless at clues - if I was a detective I think detection rates would less than zero as also a sucker for a sob story. The paler shade of red i agree is pink - but haven't a clue on the "somesuch" place, which i kinda think is going to be important in solving this. :-\ ??? and double ???
If the other one turns up I have to get it back as I am very deplete on Some things now and I need what is in it, so it is going to be returned to me unopened,XXJeannine
me, me??? ;D ;D ;D
My house name is Nonsuch............getting excited now Jeannine! ;D ;D
Thank You so much for restarting it......hope the parcel turns up..........I posted a parcel the other day first class, and it took 5 days to get to the recipient! :o
Gonna wait to jump the postie Monday! ;D
Well done Doris!! but don't grab the postman on Monday, it is more likely to be Tuesday.
By the way this will not go through a letterbox, as I said with the first one I have really tried to make it interesting and it is stuffed, and it is travelling in a shoebox, too much for a padded envelope, the postage is going to be a bit more than any I have sent out before though but please PM me if that is a concern to anyone.
I might send it out again when it gets home,if not any left overs will be donated to school gardening clubs,or the Mental Health ass. who have lotties, so anything you put in will be gratefully received by someone.
This is one good box, I even added to it this morning, if I don't get it in the post it will need a forklift.LOL
Let me know as soon as it arrives so I can give you the name and address of the next recipient.
XX Jeannine
It has left Hull fron ASDA post office this morning, I have sent it first class which was not cheap but I wanted it to get off to a good start, it is too big to go second class, but I suggest that others send it parcel post which will cost £4 20 There are many verieties of beans in there so the weight is up, but as people take them the weight should go down. the other ones i have sent have been at most just over £3, so PLEASE if anyone has a problem with this please PM me.It will take a bit longer to go around but I think it is worth it. XX Jeannine
Thanks so much Jeannine for resending!
I'm getting excited at the thought of it ;D
barkingdog
Oh I'm excited about this seed parcel too. It's like Christmas ;D
Thank-you so much Jeannine for starting this PTP. :-*
Thank you Jeannine you are a real star ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
Well............it is here!!! ;D ;D
And what can I say...Jeannine, WOW :o :o Never had such a tempting/ different selection in a PTP! So exciting ;D ;D ;D
Postie must have known I was going to jump him, cos he left it on my doorstep and ran! ;) ;D ;D
Am just finishing going through it all,(thought had better post it had arrived safely) taking little bits of this n that, had youngest daughter off school ill, so she helped. She was fascinated by the bean colours, which for a 15 year old was great to see.
Will go through my own seeds this afternoon to add, am too adding beans, so will post what it costs to send when I get it weighed, so the rest of you have a rough idea.
THANK YOU Jeannine, this is great great fun! :-* :-*
DP
Thanks Jeannine for getting the show on the road again, much appreciated.
Oh good I feel better now, I was quite nervous. I am glad you liked it, I tried to really stuff it but sadly it doesn't have the same amount of toms in that the first one had as I had packed it with such a lot of varieties in there, but on the other side this one got more beans as they arrived after the first one left.
Watch for the next clue, I will let Doris Pinks know who to send it to right now.
XX Jeannine
DORIS YOUR BOX IS FULL I NEED TO SEND THE NEXT NAME
Thank you very much for doing this Jeannine, :-*
I hope the first parcel will eventually turn up.
Well when I can get the message about who to send the parcel too next it will be on it's way to

my brain hurts ???
this is worse than 3-2-1 with Ted Rodgers - when it finally arrives you'll probably get Dusty Bin
My house is number 10 ..... court. Can it be me ??? ???
valley: vale, dale, gorge, dell, basin???
gent: still no idea.
I thought Dawn- must be FlowersofShona! - but how does the rest fit?
??? ??? ???
Parcel on it's way,
went first class so should be with "A gent before a valley in the early morning sees the Prime Minister number of sheep" tomorrow!
(I know who it is! Perhaps cos I wrote out the address??? ;D)
Enjoy!
DP
You are getting closer, you have worked out,
man= gent
dale= valley
which we add to what we already had which was
10 = prime ministers number
dawn =early morning
Come on now, somebody has to recognise themselves now!!!
Oh I can be such an old tease.
XX Jeannine
I think this has to be "flowers of shona", but I have to say the sheep (or synomyn) has got me confused.
More wine, more wine.
Mmm well this is twice that Flowersofshona name has come up but she hasn't said anything yet except.... her brain hurts!!
You would presume she would know if it was her.
What makes you think it is her?
I will give you another hint...think breeds of sheep!!
XX Jeannine
Got up to have a cup of camomile tea - insomnia again.
But got it now Dorset Sheep!!
Flowers...........it is definitely you!!
;D ;D guess its coming this way then ;D was the sheep that threw me ;D
Oh well done Suzanne, I will have to make the next one much harder.
Obviously I am not going to print an address here, but suffice to say
Mandale was in there.
Have fun Flowersofshona, there are some good beans in there!! Have fun.
Could you let me know by PM when it arrives and I can give you the next player.
Just to mention to everyone again, this will not go through the letterbox and the postage is higher than any I have done before. There is Okra in if anyone wants to go for the challenge.
Mmm need to look at my draw list to see who came out next .
Suzanne, I shall work harder on that clue this time!!!

Hi Mikey, I have taken it off, I have posted the size/cost a couple of times but again if anyone has a problem with it please contact me.

can take another person to replace Mikey if anyone is reading this XX Jeannine
Yayyyyyyyyy i attacked the postman, wrestled him to the gound and got the box off him ;D ;D he looked a little shocked but think he enjoyed the experience ;D
Just starting to have a look through and i have a drool bucket close to hand as it looks amazing !!
Will get it back in the post Monday :D
Thank you Jeannine :D
Oh goodie, have fun, I will pm you the next name and post the clue shortly.. oh eck, it is too easy, I will have to make it more cryptic.
Back in a while
XX Jeannine
OK folks, thinking caps on now!!
Flowersofshona will be sending it out as soon as she has stopped drooling!!
I hope she has a good relationship with her postie(actually if she didn't she probably does now)
You seedaholics make close friends real quick!!
Here is your clue,
The parcel will be absailing in a dinghy towards a thornless plant which is home to many creatures!!
I just know you will get this one quick,it is dead giveaway.
XX Jeannine
i may be halucinating, but like Ant and Dec nearly say -"it could be me" but hang on there are lots of other thornless plants, and lots of other zoos........
and why do you think it is you.. solve the clues
what do you need to do in a dinghy? Where do you absail? What has lots of animals? The only thorn on rhubarb is barb. QED Quod Erat Definitely ME ME ME. Don't say it ain't, as i've just cancelled everything for next week :D
The plant has nothing to do with rhubarb honestly........in fact.
another hint... the plant is the name of a town.
XX Jeannine
Oh, Jeanine - if that space is still available please can I fill it? Will PM you my address.
relax everybody - it's not me :'(
Tin Shed I am so sorry but carolinej beat you by a few minutes. Sorry Sweetie. XX Jeannine
Boo....... boo hoo.
Come on, who lives in a town that has the same name as a plant, it could be anybody, but you have to get that town, or the clues earlier could fit more than one of you, so get your thinking caps on again, we are supposed to be gardeners you know!!!
If you get the plant you will get it for sure.
Next clue...it is a fruiting plant (not rhubarb plant)
Carolinej is joining us to replace Mikey, I am re shuffling the names so she can play otherwise she will expect to be last.
Tin shed is our next back up.
XX Jeannine
Best I can come up with is Bean (Kent) or C.... Oooh I think that could be it.
I'll whisper it Jeannine
anyone from Windsor? or Seville?
Nope, nope and nope again.
Oh you will kick yourself when the penny drops!!
There ia a wild version of this fruit too!!
XX Jeannine
Oregan Thornless Blackberry ?
barkingdog
There appears to be a Chester Thornless blackberry too!
barkingdog
ah barkingdog - Jeannine - stop this wild rollercoaster of emotions. I feel like an hormonal teenager - anyone got one going spare? (I'll get me coat.........)
Ok I will let you off the hook, the blackberry sealed the deal, very clever, you are all much to good for me, so who is getting it?
I think the person in question is out or throwing a juvenile hissy fit, come back in you will catch cold, you forgot your coat.
..... and you can confess as many clues as you like to the rest without giving your address away.
LOL LOL LOL LOL I am bad !!
Jeannine
you're the best type of bad person Jeannine!
dinghy = Row
absail = cliff
Avenue
fruit = Chester (thornless blackberry) thanks barkingdog!
aah bless... feels good when the penny drops eh!!
Trouble was there were two of you with similar clues.
Have fun when it gets there.
XX Jeannine
Jeannine,
where is Chester ?
Is it t'other side 'o yon big 'ills West 'o Leeds ?

sya what youlike about Chester, Mikey, I don't mind. IMHO it's about the most charmless place i've lived (apart from Aberdeen).
Oh I got married in Aberdeen!!
yes, but did you actually LIVE there?

Aberdeen I know quite well (lived up there 'on and off' for +/- 20 years)
RT,
Charmless ...... maybe ? can be reet cold, damp and windy, it has been known for a chicken to lay the same egg twice ;)
But when the Sun shines on the Granite buildings, it can appear quite beautiful
(Sunshine ... August 11th from 11:59 hrs to 12:01 hrs) ;D
Jeannine,
you must be the only one ;D ;D
how did you find a Church that had not been converted to a Bar / Night Club

isn't there a big sign on the way in- ABERDEEN THE FRIENDLY CITY? Take your time having a chuckle about that - it's the last one you'll have :D

have to agree with you ............ ;)
Well it was in 1959, so maybe it has changed a wee bit.
They still have good mealie puddings , rowies and haggis though , I get them overnight delivery from an Aberdeen butcher.
John is from Aberdeen , but never mind, I have converted him!!
Church..no church, we eloped, well I did, he was from there, but we didn't tell his Mum, so it was at the the registry office with 2 witnesses, one called Donald Duckworth and one called Annie Mutch, and I am not kidding!!
Did I actually live there? No, only long enough to get a marriage license LOL.
I was only 16 so can't answer the one about the bars.

I wish I had known about that before i went veggie. Supermarket haggis are awful compared to the real thing.

Can someone update me where the parcel is please XX Jeannine
It has been sent, should be there by now !
just arrived. Haven't opened it yet. What a big box! thanks everyone. Aim to post it on tomorrow morns post
Cheers
Well it is on the move again today, Roo is posting it on to the next player.
Clues, well this one was hard .
1.Going to the sister of a murderous thief perhaps, who is living in the driest place, contrary to what the address suggests .
Have fun.
I think the player will have this in two minutes flat!!
But don't let your full address out of course.
XX Jeannine
yes, parcel sent on at lunchtime on Sat. The only problem was getting the lid on.
i don't know the A4A moniker of the person it's going to, but i hope where you live is as nice at it sounds from the address. That is, if any of the people on the list live in Gasholder Mansions, Grimly-by-the-Slag, IT'S NOT YOU ;D
Very funny Roo, I should have suggested you do your own clue actually, but you could do another one as well!!.Thank you for being prompt.XX Jeannine
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I live there ;D ;D ;D ;D
You probably do. Don't understand the second bit of the clue ???
Google Great W........ all will become clear. ;)
......walks off singing 'be back soon'............ ;D
Oh what a clever girl, E Maggie, I knew you would get this one, it was just too easy.
I am going to start working on the next one straight away.
Have fun.
Thanks Roo XX Jeannine
no, still don't get it. Have the MOD shut down all the pubs? What's a "graffiti train"???
Great Wakering has been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as being the driest place in England with well under twenty inches of rainfall per year, hence I go for the BIG mulch ;D
As for the Graffiti train, I don't have a clue!
I thought it was something more obscure than that. Graffiti trains are mentioned in your WIki entry - to do with all the bits and bobs the MOD leave behind when they're done blowing things up
You have lost me completely now!! Graffitti...MOD
For the other players, without giving too much addy info away.
Surname the same as a fictional murderer, living in the driest place in England which is adjacent to Somewhere on Sea.
Isn't this fun!!

The parcel is on it's way, chop chop ;D
I don't know about everyone else, but I am intrigued to know what you get back in the final parcel Jeannine, really I suppose it could just be sent round n round forever! ;D ;D
Suzanne..................shhhh
Doris-Pinks, I have sent out three before this one. One on it's own and two identical ones that went out together on the same day.
Generally for me the parcels has been smaller when I got them back, which is fine with me as I enjoy sharing some of the seeds I import that are not usually here, however I have had some interesting things come back too, especially flowers which I don't usually think about.
I tend to buy my seeds in bigger packets than are usually available here so I always have a lot of spares which I enjoy sharing.
I was going to donate a lot of seeds off this year but decided to send the parcel out first. If you remember last year I packed up large grab bags of excess seeds and offered them without swaps.
I still have an excess of quite a few seeds and might bring the parcel home to be replenished , not sure yet.
Sadly the first parcel which went missing had loads of varieties of tomatoes and squash in, I kept a list which I would have to look at to be sure, but I do know there were more than 40 varieties of toms in there and about 3/4 of that amount of squash, but when doing the second one I was unable to put as many of those two in b ut I felt I had to send a second one as so many folks were looking forward to it. It was more basic but much bigger.
I could do a post when it comes back and let everyone know, but I would expect any unusual ones to be gone, but then we all have seeds that we think are commonplace but to someone who has not had them before they are unusual so it is a treat for me too.
Perhaps for a newbie the parcel is a good idea, maybe not so much for the old hands.
Perhaps someone could say what they thought when they got it, is it in fact worth doing?
What I put in are spares to me, and the balance will be donated to another group, or may go out again if folks want that after it has been replenished.
I have certainly found seeds in the previous three that I wanted to keep myself as I have on all parcels I have participated in too, but the main idea for me is to share. It is really just a fun thing.
I have been in serious swaps with laid down guidelines, but they are different than the pot luck ones such as this.
I do not expect folks to put in as much as they take out by the way , not in this kind of parcel.
Hope this answers XX Jeannine
I loved the parcel. For me it is a chance to try things which otherwise I wouldn't have tried, or didn't even know about,(all those different beans :o) and also to share stuff which I have more than enough of or don't think I'll grow this time. I like harvesting seeds and find it difficult to resist, so I don't go out without a few paper envelopes in my pocket. ;D
:-X
;D ;D ;D Suzanne.
Thanks Emaggie, it is a bit of a worry when one starts something, we hope everyone will enjoy it, nice to hear the feedback and I am sure everyone else who has been involved so far is happy to hear it too.
XX Jeannine
Well you didn't really expect me to be quiet for long did you. ;D
Jeannine, having seen your seed collection at Barnsdale meeting last year I was in awe, particularly as I am a squash and bean fan and your collection is so extensive with so many different varieties.
You are also extremely generous in passing on seed for others to try which for those of us who didn't know about the sort of varieties grown in the states etc is fantastic. My OH says I am obsessed with trying new things and why can't I just grow the varieties everyone else does - but I think its almost like an obsession. I buy or swop things to try - if I like them I will grow them again, save seed if possible and pass this on. If not I enjoy the adventure of growing something different and then swop the seeds onto someone else.
I think seed swaps are brilliant idea and the varieties in your parcels one of the things it seems all the "enthusiasts" on the site look forward. :) I look forwad to receiving the parcel for the first time and I know everyone will want to share the seeds that they think are interesting and worthwhile to "give a go" with everyone else.
Thanks Suzanne, but what is an obsession, it sounds neat, I might get one one dayXX Jeannine
Oh I almost forgot, the parcel has landed at Princescruffers palace and will be on the move again shortly to....
" nickname for a cool motorbike"
Come on now, I am a Great Grandma and I thought up this one so there has to be guessers out there, Suzanne was spot on with the last one
Bluebird? ??? ???
Harley?
Enfield?
Norton?
Bantom Beezer? ;D
anything to do with hogs??? ???
Ducati, Aprilla, Honda, BMW, Yamaha, Triumph, Suzuki, Ducati, Vespa or Buell
Thanks all I can think of ???
Lauren
Nickname.........not bike name..bike from the 80's ( I think)
Cool....as in temperature, bike is known for this feature
Oh come on there have to be some bike folks out there
XX Jeannine
Hot Rod. (who's he?)
Only nickname I can think of is a chopper, though I've no idea where that would fit ???
Turns out it had nothing to do with Hot Rod or his Chopper ::) It's ME! ;D Imagine my surprise when the postman knocked for me today with a huge package (wish I could think of a way to rephrase that, but it's late, and I'm still a bit of a wreck after a whole day without A4A!) Happily, I've had lots of googling to do :)
Parcel will be on its way again on Monday, enjoy, and thankyou Jeannine, I will definately be growing some fantastic veg this year 8)
That must be vp -v is the shape of the engine and p for power.
Hi, clue was,
It is the Yamaha LC motorbike from the 80s.. LC means liquid cooled, and the bike is nicknamed Elsie by the cult of fans who collect it.
Glad it arrived OK Miss Yamaha!!
XX Jeannine
You're too good for me Jeannine :)
PS. I have PM'd you
Thanks Elsie, and as you have already told me the parcel is ready to go out soon the next clue is
" missing the white cliffs but happy above the rainbow "
XX Jeannine
Dover, or not quite but closeby from first clue
Happy over the rainbow - Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz - yeloow brick road and then l am well and truly lost. Will have to have a think.
Although I do do that over the rainbow is the land where dreams come true. Is any of this making sense????
No to the first bit
no to the second bit but you are close, well in the right movie, for 1 bit of the clue
no to the yellow brick rod
??? ??? ???
cj :)
Blue Birds are over the rainbow
They are...
no cliffs ?
happy ?
XX Jeannine
Why do you think it is Bluebird..solve the three parts of the clue.
Dover is a famous port with White Cliffs. Another famous port (without any white cliffs)?
Nope
I was, and probably still am being extremely dense.
Does the song go - "There'll be Blue Birds over the white cliffs of Dover" ?
and still need to think some more. But perhaps the recipient lives in another place famous for its port??
You almost have another bit, start putting the bits together.
Portsmouth? ;D
isn't Bristol famous for it's port, or is it just sherry?
Liverpool?
Harvey's Bristol Cream? I've no idea whether there's any real connection with Bristol.
You areall getting colder, lets backtrack and get another clue.
We could say three songs with a common bond.
1.white cliffs, (but not near the recipient so no cliffs)
2.........of happiness
3.over the rainbow
Think about the words to three songs with the above in their lyrics anf you will find the thread.
Sing the songs to yourselves!!!!
XX Jeannine
Hi Tom,
Well this is a big relief, finally it has shown up, I wonder where it has been, this must be the first one that went missing, the replacement was not on it's way to your house, which is why you didn't understand the clue .
You need to return that one to me as it arrived please as we decided if it turned up, please don't post it on to anyone on the address list inside as some of those folks have already had the replacement one and I don't want both to go around.I really need to get those seeds back now it has turned up.
So anyone reading this, the clue still stands re the cliffs, rainbows etc.
Sorry for any confusion but luckily the first parcel seems to have arrived at Tomslottie at last.
The replacement is still on the go and travelling well.
Thank you for letting me know, I will be so glad to get this one back.
XX Jeannine
Some very impressive colour work there Jeannine ;D

Jeannine,
This is such good news. Having known the value ( in gold - well, ones and twos of seeds :) ) in some of these parcels, I for one, am paranoid with fear that one goes "missing" in or around my possession. !!

I feel exactly the same, so once I've sent it off I watch the thread like crazy then breathe a huge sigh of relief when it arrives safely. ;D
Seed Thief...In the olden days they would have chopped your fingers off :o
Very glad this one turned up!
I have just had an odd PM from Tomslottie that I don't understand, he tells me the parcel he has has names crossed off but no other details, I have replied but he hasn't got back to me.
The missing one didn't as he was the first to get it.
Tomslottie where are you..can you post here and let us all know what is happening please, folks must be as confused as I am .
Something has gone very wrong here??
You posted the day before yesterday you had received my parcel, yoo hoo where are yoo.
XX Jeannine
Tomslottie is on the round the world seed swap run by Amazin as well. I don't think he has had this yet - but he if he lives 45 NNE of Whitby then it was due at his address. Tinkie posted it on Monday. Probably putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 9 ??? But I get carried away - love mysteries. ;D
Oh I think I will top myself now LOL.
I just today gave 80 packets of my other seeds to a mental health project because the first one had turned up.
I can't handle the pressure , this parcel is doing my head in!!
Oh Suzanne, I so hope you are wrong , I will be stuck now!!
I thought all the other seed packets in the Round the World one had place names on them...where is Brandywine,Caper,Blue Hubbard squash etc.
XX Jeannine
I hope I am wrong as well :(
Well it seems I now have to go shopping for seeds.
I am wondering where the parcel is now, It was posted last Monday I believe so it should be with it's new owner by now .
It definatley is not the one that went to Tomslottie, it was confused with another PTP, so we are back to the clue about cliffs etc.
So still guessinh here.
We have three song titles all containing 1 word that is the same in all of them
clues for each song are.
1. White Cliffs of Dover..... note there are no white cliffs near our player!!( you got this one)
2. ******** of Happiness
3. Over the Rainbow.. ( you got this one too)
Solve the missing song title, then think of the word that is the same in each song and you have it .
Then somebody tell me where the blooming parcel is LOL
XX Jeannine
A popular song by Jan Peerce and Art Mooney and His Orchestra titled Bluebird of Happiness was recorded in 1948
you are Lobby Ludd and i claim my Daily Sketch I Spy Prize

There will be Bluebirds over the White Cliffs of Dover.
The Bluebird of Happiness
When happy little Bluebirds fly above the rainbow.

Hi Jeannine, sorry I've been away all week, so just logged in to check up on everything (missed you all). The parcel was sent by courier for next day delivery on Monday, I've checked the online tracker, and see that no one was in the first couple of times, but it was signed for yesterday. Will PM you with the details Jeannine.
Did not know I was in this one but has arrived after problem with collection awaiting forwarding address !!!
;D
Hi Bluebeird, what a hoot eh!! I still have your PM message by thw way requesting joining in with address etc.
Anyway we are back on track , address for next one coming shortly,.
I hope you found lots of stuff to make the surprise a good one.

Ok, all the mysteries sorted out and we are ready for the road again..
Next stop to... (oh this one is so easy, and no googling!!)

XX Jeannine
Ahhh, it is so sweet, is it flowerlady? ;)
It looks like I'm wrong once again. :(
Well done Natasha, Eliza Doolittle was a flowergirl, and watch for the postie Flowerlady!!
I shall make the next one really hard cos you got that one too easy.
XX Jeannine
Just wondered on progress of parcel - not that I'm impatient or anything :P ;D

I've only recently read this Pass the Parcel thread of Jeannine's and I'm impatient.....I want to read the next clue ;D
I've been following the clues unsuccessfully all the way through.......if the next one's really hard I might as well give up......
Just bringing this to the top again as haven't heard anything for a little while. FlowerLady did you get the parcel?
Yes I did, it arrived Monday :D ... and the box went back in the post yesterday ;) ...
Any clues as to where its off next? ::)
cj :)
Hi, it is apparently on it's way back to me,I just got a PM from Flowerlady. It seems she had e mailed me for instructions but I had not received the request and she didn't know who to send it too.
I will post when it arrives here and again when I send it back out. XX Jeannine
J, you should have given a cryptic clue about yourself...you said that you'd make the next one really hard - would anyone have guessed? ;D ;D ;D
I didn't know it was coming XX Jeannine
Clue about me..
Wrinkly nut crossed with game old bird = geriatric teenager!!
Hi a parcel has arrived here today, I haven't opened it as I might be tempted to raid it LOL. Problem is, it is in a much smaller box than when it first left me and I am not sure it is the seeds. It left in a shoebox, did anyone pack it in to a different one somewhere along the line.
I will have to open it if I can't find out!!!!
I need help here.
There is no return address on it.
XX Jeannine
Jeanine, will your parcel be available to other people once its finished its holidays? these swaps are so much cheaper to send than sending random seed packets, anyway let me know, sarah
I am not sure, it will depend on what is left in it and how much really.I will post if it is to go again, I promise.
XX Jeannine
o.k if you do, please would you put me on your list! many thanks.
BUMP..I still haven't opened this.
In the words of Michael Miles 'Open the box!' ;D ;D
Hi, heard from Flowerlady who had changed the box and it seemed right but the brown paper was torn so I opened it to replace the paper, inside was not a washing powder box which she said she had used so I opened it..not the seeds, it is a purchase off e bay that came every early.
So it is still on it's way.
XX Jeannine
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D....all that anticipation gone to waste. ;D
Hi, the parcel arrived today..another calamity though.
The beautiful packing job that Flowerlady did was ruined, it looked like it had been run over, the box was all broken and it was very dirty, came in a big plastic bag from the post office, damaged.I could see that it started out with lovely new paper on it so I guess they did something to it.
I don't know if we can do anything about a disaster en route, I guess we should be happy it made it home.
Anyway I have no means of knowing what was in it or if anything is missing but it is still heavy , I have fed it a bit more and am sending it out again tomorrow.
It is in a pretty shabby bubble envelope as I didn't have another one and wanted to get it going first thing but it is secure.
Clue was not very easy but here goes!!
it is going to a town that sounds like.................

I'll pop it in the post tomorrow - I'll see what I can do re wrapping it up again. You'd wrapped it so well I'm afraid the bubble envelope is no more. Should I send it back to you, or do you want to PM me with who's next on the list?
Here's a joke for you to follow on from your last clue:
Why do Wiltshire people like spuds so much?
Because they have Devizes (devices) for Chippenham (chipping 'em) ::)
Perhaps it's the way I tell 'em :-\
That is smashing,boom boom.
I will Pm you later tonight with the next name.
XX Jeannine
Great! I think I may have some packets of seeds that are about to go out of date (mainly flowers). I'll put those in as well as my pukka swapsies, so if anyone wants to use them for e.g. school projects, they're welcome to do so...
That would be super VP, I am sure someone will use them.
Next clue , ??? not going to give you one :-X

Hi Caroline,
The parcel went off to you just after lunch today :D It's gone first class, so you should have it tomorrow.
Jeannine, I managed to find a box to put everything in. I've put your address inside in several places, just in case there's problems with the post again. I did adopt your approach to wrapping it up, so fingers crossed it'll arrive at Caroline's OK. Thanks for arranging this - there's lots of goodies in there - and still plenty for you too Caroline!
Hello Vp,
thanks for letting me know it is on its way ;D I will have to get my son up to wait for the postie as I will be out, and there is no way i can wait till monday to pick it up fronm the sorting office ::)

I've left an area at the top slightly less well wrapped for you to have a go at ;D
Have fun choosing from all the goodies and a good weekend :D
Yes it is too late and I am sorry but I would have said no anyway,I feel you are promoting a link to a business here and as you are an e bay seller under the same business name I don't think our swappers would approve if their precious seeds ended up being sold..sorry if this is harsh, but it is the way it appears.
Sorry.

The parcel arrived safe and sound this morning ;D ;D
Have had a quick look through.... I couldnt resist, and will have a good sort through after dinner (lunch, to you non valleys people ::))

Parcel has arrived at Purple Sproutings house, she has the next addy to post on, she will no doubt leave a clue shortly
XX Jeannine
Hi all,
I collected the package today from the sorting office (many apologies for the short delay, but it arrived on a day that I was at work) ...........I am absolutely knocked out by the contents......thank you all so much......especially Jeannine for her hard work throughout this project.
I will have a wonderful weekend sorting through and removing a pinch of this and that and going through my own seed collection to add bits and pieces.
I will post the package on Tuesday - it will be going to visit 'ascendant lengthy grounds' in a town famous for Chenopsis atrata.
Take care
Ann
Apparently Dawlish in Devon is famous for it's Chenopsis atrata's!!!
barkingdog
Well that didn't take long...........told you all I wasn't very good with guessing or making up clues.
Have a good Easter everyone.
Ann
;D So who lives in Dawlish?
barkingdog
I've waited for the postie every morning and nothing has arived yet. When should I start to worry? :'(
Lauren
Purple Sprouting said he would post it on Tuesday, that is the last I know, assuming she did I would think it would be there tomorrow.I guess there may have been a backlog after Easter at the PO though.
I wouldn't worry yet.
XX Jeannine
Hi Lauren/Jeannine,
Many apologies for the delay in 'posting the package' - it was sent 1st class yesterday morning so hopefully should now be with you Lauren.
The delay was due to arriving at the post office earlier in the week and finding that in their wisdom the GPO in Chelmsford had decided to close the main post office and incorporate it into a WH Smiths - there were about 100 people waiting in the queue which trailed around the shop like a discontented snake. Due to work commitments I wasn't able to wait, and the package is so large that I couldn't post it without a weighin. I did post the package as soon as I was able to do so and am truly sorry for any delay.
Regards
PS
I can now report that the package has arrived safe and sound. I only found it this evening the postie had left it in the greenhouse but not where you could easily see it. Tut tut, will have to have words, ::)
Thank-You Purple S ;D
Hundreds and hundreds to look through :o
Lauren
Oh good, I will pm you the next address it is going to and would you leave a clue please, XX Thankyou XX Jeannine
Clue....
A pliable stick water course ? ::)
Lauren
I think this may be me - Willow Brook??? ???
Fingers and everything else crossed ;D
Careful you dont fall over ;D
cj :)
8) Its cool - my bum is a well padded shock absorber ;)
Was here when I got home tonight. Nice selection, have been sorting and swapping for the last two hours. Will repack and send on ts way once I have pm'd Jeannine and got the next address. Will also post a clue then as well. :)
I've done a couple of seed swaps now and each time I find myself holding my breath that they arrive ok. Thank goodness it has.
Lauren
And Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!! ;D
My turn to hold my breath then.................................
But before I do, the parcel will be going to someone whose address includes the location of not the last but the previous big earthquake in the UK, and they are not in the West.
Is it Dudley?
bd
First part of the clue right. ;D
But remember east not west.
Posted parcel today first calss but post office said will go out with Mondays post. Apparently the collection for tpday was at 9 am the same time as postie opened - I got there at 9.15 :(
But at least on its way :D
Yep, it's Dudley and it's me! :D
The parcel arrived this morning full of goodies, lots and lots of good things in there, thank you very much to Jeannine and everybody contributed, I'll do the swaps today and it will be in the post tomorrow.
The parcel is again on the road.
This is the clue:
100 before noon play cards with Albert's widow.
Albert's widow - would that be Queen Victoria?
Yes, the second part of the clue is Victoria!
I think this is me. Woo hoo!
That's right! :)
Wow. I didn't think you could get that many seeds into a jiffy bag. I got the superfast April swap on the same morning so I think I'd best go and have a bit of a break and a cup of tea! Added some okra, though not much, sorry, and some other bits and bobs. Swore to myself that I didn't need any more beans - that lasted about five minutes!
Jeannine, just being nosey really ;D how many people are left to go on this?
Also want to ask you a few bean questions, but did not want to spoil it for anyone else that had not yet received the parcel, but it may be helpful for those that have been invovled in this swap and that have picked the same beans as me!! ;)
Doris, I think there is about 10 left. It cam back to me by accident and I topped up the beans.
XX Jeannine
This went in the post an hour ago! Going somewhere feathery and broad, inhabited by one who doesn't bite.
;D I'm thinking that this could possibly be me!
here's hoping!!
bd
Has this arrived yet? The other I sent out the same day has been unpacked already. Bit paranoid given the fate of the earlier parcel.
I had a card left yesterday saying that I had a parcel! OH should be picking it up today but I'll confirm this when I'm home (at work at the minute!)
barkingdog
Parcel is indeed here! There's certainly plenty to choose from! I'll PM Jeannine for next address.
bd
Address is sent,,,thank you all for a quick turnaround, not too mnay more to come.
XX Jeannine
The parcel will be sent tomorrow to:
a county girl who resides in a fine city!

P.S Posted again so you can read it this time ::)
Don't know who it is but it reminded me of a ditty I used to sing to the kids.
Grrreeeen and Yelllllerrrr
Grrreeeen and Yelllllerrrr
Oh Mother come quick
I feel very sick
And I wanna lay down and die.
Many verses, but that is the chorus and I feel sure some of you can join in. ;D
(had my turn with the parcel, isn't it great?)
Is it in Norwich? Just by the colours?
Norwich is correct ;D

Is it in Norwich? Just by the colours?
woohoo, it's me!!! ;D unless anyone else in the swap lives in Norwich
(Emaggie: we used to sing that on the coach when we went on Brownie pack hoildays to Borehamwood. thanks for the trip down memory lane! I'm sitting here remembering peeling mountains of spuds, and washing up mountains of plates...)
I live just outside Norwich...but yes it is you!!!

the parcel has just arrived (at work) so I'm not opening it until I get home tonight ;D
(it's much bigger than I was expecting!!!)
I repackaged it as the last envelope was in a bad way!
bd
OK Dadnlad, I'm just off to the post office to post this monster ;D
I've given it a waterproof jacket, for added security, and the list of names and address is safely tucked inside.
enjoy!!!
(and thanks again Jeannine ;D)
Oooooh! ;D we'll keep our eyes peeled for the postie then, ta very muchly :-*
Parcel arrived yesterday morning, lovely job :D, cheers Norfolklass
But what a dilema - check out much awaited parcel :-\ or grab the only chance this week to get down the plot, with a spring heatwave forecast ::)
So we spent a glorious day at the plot yesterday (and had our first bbq of the year anorl 8)) - and all day today sifting through a treasure trove of seeds, whilst it pee'd down outside :P
We've taken out lots of bits and bobs (so many varieties - so little space), and bunged in loads of half packets and saved seeds for everyone else to enjoy ;D
Anyhow, the parcel is repacked and ready to go, and I'll post it RD tomorrow - so watch out Riffster !
And thanks Jeannine and everyone else for a lovely weekend ;D :-*
Primed and ready!
Much anticipated !
Thanks all.
Hope it's arrived safely Riffster ? ???
Hi Guys,
The parcel arrived Wednesday, and got it turned around last night, and got posted today, ( Thursday ). I was hoping it might get to the next recipient on Sat for a great weekend.
There is a good chance its pre noon Fri al la special delivery.
You know where is going, Its off to Stevens706.
What a great parcel, many thanks to Jeannine et al.
Best Regards
Riffster....
Parcel received safe and sound, it is now so large it cannot fit through anybodies letter box. Been through it, excited like a schoolboy, and it will be back in the post today. Get ready Amazin. Thanks Jeannine for all the work organising it.
I'm holding my breath - it's me after Amazin'!!!!!
Hurry up i cant wait anymore it is from france to spain back to the netherlands and i will send it back home.
Hi everyone, well you seem to be going great in my absence..well done. If that parcel gets much bigger it will need a forklift!!
I hope everyone is well.
XX Jeannine
Great to hear you again how are you doing jeannine? I hope well.
Sincere apologies for this delayed response, folks. The parcel arrived with perfect timing - I was off work, catching up with the much neglected garden. I had a good old rootle and a not insubstantial firkle - I decided to only take samples of things I'd never grown before and there were some really exciting items - before sending it winging its way to find Bonnie Tyler. Actually, with this message being so late, I reckon it's already wung.
Jeannine, you've done it again girl! Many thanks for your hard work and generosity of spirit. Round of applause... or just a round - whichever you prefer!
;D
Still holding my breath - hope it isn't Lost in France and that it finds its way!
It's just arrived, safe and sound - and I'm speechless! :o
The selection of seeds is incredible - thank goodness it arrived at the weekend - I need time to get over the shock, and time to select and replace! :)
Phew!
;D
Oh goodie, it is truly International now, getting close to the end..then I have to figure out what to do next!!
XX Jeannine
It's on its way again - to even sunnier climes than here, olé!
I had a great time - especially as there were seeds in there that I'd not even heard of, but then I am fairly new at this! I am definitely looking forward to trying to grow Goji and Okra - I see from other threads on here that it is possible.
Very many thanks Jeannine for this, and everyone else who participated!
Mmm, I wonder who that could be ;D
cj :)
I know - the clue is rather obvious - not my strong point!
Best type of clue there is ;D
I cant get the cryptic ones :-\
cj :)
Hi all. just popping in on hubbies pooter while mine is offline, I didn't realise how awkward it can be with 2 people in 1 house that both want to be on the net at the same time!!
XX Jeannine
Hello Jeannine - I have that problem too, so I have to make the most of it while the OH is out at work!
It is now a week since the parcel was sent - hope it turns up soon. The address was very long - hope the postman managed to read it all!
You want to have two grown up children, and a three year old in for the weekend...... couldn't get on line for love nor money!! :o
We're lucky here - my youngest teenage daughter was given a portable computer when she left her old school.
There is a policy here of every child aged 14/15 having a portable computer for school work - and after those two years they get to keep them! Ok, they aren't using the most up-to-date of systems, but they work - frees up the house computer for mum and dad! :D
You guessed right! It's in Spain! My other half picked it up today, but I'm afraid I won't be home until thursday night! ohhhh the agony! Later .......................
ohhh nooooo!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Phew - it's arrived, baby (big fat baby!) safely delivered! ;D
Wow, it is moving along nicely, well done to you all, it was a very long list and I think it made it to most of you still in time to plant..
I can't be doing with this shared computer thingy. I took off my laptop to return it to work for a new one and there has been a hold up, it is there in the cupboard but has to be got going by the IT fella who has 15 to do bless him so I am on a list.I am always complaining that John spends too much time on his so he usually races through to his room if I turn mine on, now I can't..so I can't really blame him for sulking if I spend time on his!!!
Keeping touch as best I can.
XX Jeannine
What a selection, thanks to you all! The parcel is on the off again heading for los Países Bajos!
Back after a few weeks in bed with a slipped disc, I'm pleasantly surprised to read at my first visit to A4A that the parcel is due to arrive in a few days!
If the parcel is that big, I hope my disc will not slip again! ;)
Lo and behold! The parcel arrived yesterday.
Being at home, recovering, I have spent a day sorting through the contents. And there was some really nice stuff in there too!
The package is now on its way to Ruud, so it won't be long before it will reach Jeannine.
Will you start another round or do you have an enormous garden?
Garjan
Send the parcel back on his last trip to his homeland ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.
Hi all, just a quick message from work, not able to get on at home, the parcel has arrived ,thank you to all who joined in. New laptop supposed to be here tomorrow so I will be back online at home..fingers crossed!!
Mmm now what to do with this wonderful box of seeds.
XX Jeannine
Glad it arrived safely. ;D ;D
And thank you Jeaninne I had a lovely time on this swap - so many different varieties to try ;D
