I'm a novice as well they were meant to be silkies but somehow i don't think they are but I'm still happy with them ;D ;D

Looking at the photo - I may be wrong as some of the feathers look a little long, but the dark ones look like Black Rock hens of which I have 6. If they are - they will lay for at least 5 years as opposed to the average 12-18 months of most other breeds. Laying large eggs, around 280-300 annually.
