Fluttering in the breeze here - bit of a pain really as my plan was to come in to the office ( nr Stockport) to do some stuff, and then head home at lunchtime so's I don't have to abandon the car in the village and walk the last mile or so home dragging a laptop case.

Best laid plans?.........

My kids & I were out for 2 hours this morning. Snowball fights, sledging and even a small snowman. As they are too young to take the hit without crying, I had to take everything they threw at me. Enjoyed every minute. ;D ;D ;D

We have quite a bit of snow and still falling.  Forecast to get another 10cm or 4 inches overnight as well.  I believe its to go by Saturday though. We have had a few road accidents according to the news.  May just go out with my camera for a bit of fresh air.

;D ;D

honeybee got a  (small) very warm bungalow but can only offer you a settee to sleep on :)
No snow here, probably waiting until tomorrow when I will more than likely be doing the school run.
Hope you soon get your boiler fixed

Just think yourselves lucky you don't have Snow, the roads are treacherous out there so stuck indoors.  More forecast tomorrow so guess shopping can wait or Saturday.  My Heating is working though thankfully.

Would anyone like a light shower of rain from central London, which we obviously got in lieu of the promised snow.

I'd planned not to do any outdoor work today as well, because of the forecast. GRRR!    >:(

Theres plenty here in Cramlington, in fact driving home tonight there were a few places where it has flooded quite badly and thawed, so can guess what it will be like tomorrow frozen over  :(

Dad works in Morpeth, and had hardly any snow(despite the fact the A1 was closed from the Seaton Burn junction to Morpeth strangely enough), and yet I work in Shiremoor (or New York to be precise!) and like Cramlington it has been blizzard after blizzard.  Weird!

Actually, we also had an interesting weather event too. Anyone ever experienced a thunderstorm whilst in a snow blizzard??? Happened this morning at 10.45am. Everyone looked at each other with the first flash thinking what the heck!!!
