Title: Lessons learnt.
Post by: tim on January 02, 2008, 17:01:37
1. Nigella's idea of Naans as Pizza bases is just great - so long as they are the soft ones, made with Yoghurt.

2. Rack of Lamb. The recipe we had off the net said 12 - 18 minutes. Lunch was VERY late!! I'll stick to 60C next time!

3. Nigella's Seville Ice Cream. Needs must, for the 1st lot we used Navel Oranges & Limes, for the 2nd lot we used Mandarins & Limes. For the 3rd lot, Lemons & Mandarin.  I almost prefer these to the original.

Tim, as a fan of Nigella's seville orange ice cream after the recipe you posted here, I feel I must share my latest discovery.  Again, it is a nigella recipe:  pomegranate ice cream, and it is stunning!  Make it the same way as the original but it is the juice of two pomegranates and one lime [although I used a lemon because that's all I had], 175g icing sugar and 500mls double cream.  :)
