I grew some of these for our plant sale in autumn, it was then cancelled so I popped them in the bed we need for our 1st earlies..could I transplant them into pots now, they're quite large, so's we can sort the spud bed out, thanks in advance, manics
I'd go ahead, get a decent root ball up and should be no problem.
thanks, jjt..will get them up at the weekend, weather and this d*mn head cold permitting ;D
Hi (Happy new year)
Heres a tip for when you re plant these.
Lavendar doesnt sprout well from woody stems so pruning now doesnt do much good. The best way to avoid haveing a leggy lav is to sink the plant so that only about 4 inches is above the soil surface, this way youll get lots of short vigoraous growth and lots of flowers.

thanks, sunloving..a good tip there ;D
Mine is in a pot and did well last year but they like to be dry and in the sun so I have put it in a sheltered spot to be away from all this rain. Noticed the lady's next door is looking very sad so I'll mention it to her in the Spring. Just call me nosey :-[
