Title: May be worth it
Post by: RSJK on December 30, 2007, 15:53:56
Think are seed spuds arrive in the next week or two at the lottie shop, I am going to risk putting a row under a cloche as soon as they arrive the way the weather is think that I may get away with it and get some very early potatoes.

I think I would try and sprout them a bit first in case they lay in wet cold soil and rot before the sprout start.

I start a few in tubs in the greenhouse, then do an early raised bed that we tuck in with fleece . It had always worked well for us. Charlotte is my choice for this, even though a second early is seems to do well.
