I bought one last year. It is a boon for making permanent veg. markers. The tapes are self-adhesive and I stick them on to normal plant labels of various sizes.

Louise, I should warn you that replacement tapes are expensive. I got mine on Ebay. You need TZ tapes 12mm x 8mm. I don't think I'll need another one as I can use all the markers from last year and will only have to make new ones for new varieties.

I got a Brother one for Christmas. Haven't had a play yet as I didn't get batteries with it. >:(

The Lidl offer has batteries and a 5m tape also comes with it. Offer starts 3. January in my local Lidl.

My local Ldl in Belgium is selling 'em for â,¬19.99.
Looks like Lidl UK buyers have the better deal... :-\

I have 6 of these units that I use to store some of my paper crafting things - I don't know if they would be good for seeds as they have holes in the bottom of the drawers, I think they might fall through if they escape from the packets.  Thanks for reminding me that they are there, I could use a few more to keep my paper habit tidy :-)
