Unusual this, they normally come in flocks.

I usually get a single or a duo,  but only when the snow is lying.  Handsome birds though.   I saw a couple of hundred at least   Redwings last week.   They wouldn't stay still long enough to take a pic.

You're both lucky.  The most I get visiting my garden are house sparrows  :), dunnocks :), blackbirds  :D, starlings  >:( and the occasional wren ;D.  Still, it's nice to see them all  ;D

We get small groups of redwings round the flats (a mile from Birmingham city centre) but not the fieldfares. When I lived in Cornwall we used to get mixed flocks on the pastures.

The rest of the flock of about 30 were in a field just up the lane yesterday morning,so perhaps this one was an escapee!

Its back today again.   I have also had a Stoat stotting around my garden all morning.   I couldn't believe it when I saw it climb a tree.  Maybe telly is bad but the wildlife is keeping me amused.
