Title: Vandal charged
Post by: Robert_Brenchley on December 21, 2007, 16:14:13
I had some good news today; we've had a persistent vandal recently who was targetting plots belonging to committee members; we were pretty sure it was someone who was recently evicted for non-cultivation, after a long history of problems. He's now been charged with malicious damage. The case comes up in February, and meanwhile it's a conditon of his bail that he doesn't enter the site.

Wouldn't it be good if he got community service........ to serve around your site. Fencing, rubbish clearing, clearing brambles and uncultivated sites ;D ;D ;D

It is who we thought, though he's not been convicted yet. He's admitted to having a grudge against the committee, and claims he doesn't know where he was on the morning he nearly knocked a committee member over driving away from the site, so it seems pretty certain.
