If you see a rook it is a crow, but if you see some crows they are rooks.
That one's plumage is so shaggy there's no doubt it's a rook. Crows are much better groomed.
Definitely a rook, check out that beak!

Could be its winter plumage :)
Look at the rook's legs in the pic above; it's got scruffy trousers, while the crow has bare legs.
