Edible Landscaping - Discovering Unusual Food Plants - 2008

Have you ever wanted to grow your own food, but thought you did not have the time?  Based on permaculture principles, this Edible Landscaping course will take you through: low maintenance food growing and gardening techniques, how to combine  food growing with aesthetics, unusual perennial food plants, managing your pests naturally, working with weeds, basic soil science  & water management techniques and basic design skills. Lots of visual aids & class participation with visits to a garden & practical exercises also included.


Cardiff Course (morning)
START DATE: 10th January
FINISH DATE: 20th March (half term missed)
COURSE DURATION: 10 weeks
TIME: 10.00am -12.00noon
VENUE: The Centre for Lifelong Learning, Senghennydd road, Cathays, Cardiff, CF244AG
