These I just had to show you. The normal flowering time is from February onwards. They have been outside, no protection, nothing.

They are really unusual.  Like Calendula, I'd be interested to know if they are scented.

Braved the wind and rain for you and despite the overwhelming stink of pig slurry drifting in from the farm, I can tell you that these Narcissus do have a nice sent. It is not strong, but definitely there.

Ah, lovely confused little things. Is the common name petticoat narccisi?
