Shame - I always get the knock for not growing enough.

But I shall certainly grow Cylindra again - the most reliable I've tried - & Monorubra, a new (?) monogerm variety for less thinning.

I pulled up the last of my beetroots on Saturday Tim, I got about 25 small ones out of about 35 healthy looking plants, all smaller than a golf ball.  ;D ;D ;D

If I leave my beetroot in the ground over winter, will it start growing again in spring or will the frost finish it off or will it become woody or such?
