finally managed to post. my IT skills are not up to scrach!
Really enjoy the forum and then discussion. I've had an allotment for a year based in South Wales and am really enjoying growing my own veg!
Now stocking up on seeds-have far too many for the new season, but nevermind!
Look forward to posting regularly and getting to chat with you all, get in touc if you're interested in growing unusual veg,maybe we can swap some helpful tips and suggestions!

Some of the inmates oops i mean members are a little nuts but quite harmless ;D
I am trying red chinese noodle beans this year and yard long beans, tried asparagus peas a few times but hubby hoed them off the first year and the 2nd time they didnt do much so maybe its 3rd time lucky ;D

lovely to read all those replies.No pic yet -but will get round to it when weather gets better.Heaps to do-last year was a trail-not bad-grew lots of beans .Gave loads away.Red cabbage did well and some white summer cabbage-sprouts have not firmed up-PSB just sprouting-is that OK?
No root crops at all-either they had blight or didnt germinate.
Was interested in reading on you forum about 'Gigandes@-is that available from on line-is it same as ' di spagna'?

Having grown some of them, my advice is keep them to 'Wee Willie' size when they get really big they go the same way as most overgrown beans, tough & stringy.
