lovely to read all those replies.No pic yet -but will get round to it when weather gets better.Heaps to do-last year was a trail-not bad-grew lots of beans .Gave loads away.Red cabbage did well and some white summer cabbage-sprouts have not firmed up-PSB just sprouting-is that OK?

No root crops at all-either they had blight or didnt germinate.
Was interested in reading on you forum about 'Gigandes@-is that available from on line-is it same as  ' di spagna'?
Hoping to try soya beans this year and chillies
How do you use those 'funny faces'  in your mails?

By the way I am in Caerleon,Gwent

LOx

We stuck to sprouts, as they were in the garden plot. Too wet to venture to the lottie!

I am going to claim to be one of the sane ones  ;) ;) ;D but having said that  ??? it could be debatable ;D

Welcome to A4A

Regarding;

Quoteif you're interested in growing unusual veg

I thought Dawn would have mentioned her famous 'Killer Whale beans'.

Having grown some of them, my advice is keep them to 'Wee Willie' size when they get really big they go the same way as most overgrown beans, tough & stringy.

Quote'Wee Willie'
take from that what you will  ;)
