Post by: Rosyred on November 13, 2007, 11:37:04
My onions didn't grow that big from seed some the same size of a onion sets. As they are two fidderly to prepare i've left them in the garage and now they are sprouting. Do you think if I replanted them i'd get big ones??

You might have problems if they are not overwinter ones, you could try growing them on in pots under cover (coldframe / greenhouse)

Almost certainly Fork... the whole point of producing the bulb is to have an energy store to make the flower stalk..

They will go to seed if you have dried them out properly or rot of if you have not
