Title: planting tulip bulbs

Is it too late to plant tulip bulbs or could i get away with it ? ???

I have not put mine in yet as my perennial borders are still going strong,and it would be a shame to cut them back yet. So hopefully theres still time :-\

November is fine for planting Tulips in my experience.

Whew! I'm pleased the Q was asked...and answered :-[ I'd pretty well decided to plant them this weekend anyway (along with daffodils lifted last year ::)) cos I figured they'd got 2 options...stay where they are in the potting shed for 10 months or so,  or take their chances in the wide world ;D

Thats right. he said that november and decimber are the perfect time. I loved the white peony type that Sarah Raven was looking at.  I think they were called Angelique. i am going to see if i can find some of those.
