Title: This bizarre weather
Post by: dtw on November 07, 2007, 20:33:14
The pumpkin plant in my garden started producing new growth and one pumpkin this week.
I've chopped it up and put it in the compost heap as it wouldn't have survived the coming frosts.

Have you had any weird goings on due to the weather?

Picked a globe artichoke last week. And two more on the way!

Ate a ripe fig off my tree three days ago! Asparagus is really surprising, though.

I noticed today that a cape gooseberry had come up and some black hungarian chillies are flowering again.
I may bring the cape gooseberry indoors in a pot.

I've still got ripening fruit on my outdoor bush tomatoes and today I noticed that they are flowering again!
