Title: Begonias advice on winter storage
Post by: cambourne7 on November 03, 2007, 14:36:34
hi guys,

I picked up some Begonias at bbc gardeners world, they have been in there pots since then and in flower more or less continualy since then.

I am spending the weekend putting in some new borders in the garden, i dont think that the begonias  will survive over winter. But i dont know what to do in order to protect them till next year.

I am planing on moving my mini greenhouse into the garage today which is a little more sheltered although gets no light. In this i am moving my gingers and cannas the whole thing will then be wrapped in fleese to keep the frost off (this is the first time i have done this as well). Do i need to cut the foliage down?

Do you think the bgonias should go in there as well, do any of these plants need to be watered or can i let them dry out?

HELP!!
