What a fantastic harvest. Do you freeze all those cabbages?  Nice size carrots as well.

Most of the cabbage we keep in the outside shed.. the red cabbage keep months but you have to remove a few outer leaves which go crispy! The white keep up to a month in the beer fridge! We cropped them because they were thinking of splitting (ie a few had in each row!)

Autumn King Johnny... grown in a compost filled raised bed.. now totally infested with claytonia!!

Saddad, when you say compost do you mean commercial bought in stuff or your own? I'm struggling with carrots and this year the carrot fly well & truly struck ???

Mostly our own but with a bought multipurpose top layer... the height off the ground (18") sems to keep them down!
