I know that many members on this forum live, or have a home in France. I have loads of seeds from here and the UK. I would be interested to know if we could do a seed swap here.
I gave my Breton neighbour a packet of butternut squash seeds, and she has done brillantly with them. She came round earlier today asking how to cook them as she tried to bake them with a cheese topping and it was a bit of a new experience for her :-X

Definately got something started here. I am going on holiday tomorrow, back to the UK, then Ibiza. I will look for seeds when I am there, just to make it a bit more of a melting pot.
I have followed the other seed swaps, and will make sure that the parcels are equiped with extra envelopes for people to put their seeds in. I will also photocopy the instrucions on my seed packs, and attach them to the relevant envelope.
If anyone is happy to pay the postage to and from other areas in Europe, and maybe beyond, then we can hopefully have an interesting 'pass the seed parcel'.
I hope to have a bon bon vacances. Back on the 4th November and make sort out where we can start.

well I would be interested but I am afraid that I don't have many seeds to offer!! I have only just started seed saving and it is not really so successful yet! I could offer French Rocket, Mache (corn salad), French Parsnip (Guernesey demi long), brussel sprouts, broccoli, and some pumpkin seeds.
Without wanting to appear to be an old grouch, is this a wise thing to be doing? I thought that there was a prohibition on sending plants and plant material (including seeds) across borders unless it was accompanied by a plant certificate. I have just visited DEFRA's website and found the following:
To guard against the spread of harmful pests and diseases, the EC Plant Health Directive sets out controls on the import, movement and keeping of plants, plant pests and other plant material. This EC legislation is implemented by the Plant Health (England) Order 2005.
Some plants and plant produce are prohibited from entering this country. Others are restricted and must be accompanied by a phytosanitary ("plant health") certificate, which is issued by the Plant Health Authority in the exporting country. This certificate is essentially a statement that the plants, or plant produce, to which it relates have been officially inspected in the country of origin (or country of despatch), comply with statutory requirements for entry into the EC, are free from quarantine pests and diseases, and are substantially free from other organisms. Plant and plant material imported from non-EC countries under Phytosanitary Certificates are inspected by the Plant Health and Seeds Inspectorate on, or shortly after, arrival in this country, in order to confirm that they satisfy our plant health requirements. There have been a number of changes made to the way we carry out import inspections and these can be viewed at the: EC import regime section.
I swap seeds from here in Spain with other seed nuts in the USA never been a problem, I also do lots of swaps with Rudd in Holland.
Velorex,i swap seeds for more than 10 years now,seeds swapping is in the most countries allowed,for so far i know canada is a little bit tricky.I have swapped with people from all over the world from australia to alaska,from spain to norway.I had never had problems with customs and wenn i had problems it
was the local post who gave the problem.
