Title: Flowers for flower lovers!
Post by: Mrs Ava on June 29, 2004, 13:03:56
Hey MagpieDi, check out these Daturas!  Put mine to shame I have to tell you.  This one was growing in a very humid butterfly garden in Britanny.

Also in the butterfly garden there was a bank of different orchids, all shapes and colours.  So gorgeous all en-masse like that.  Now all I need is another couple of hundred orchid plants to add to my 2, and I might have a collection like this!  ;D

Hello, EJ
Gorgeous daturas! I wish we could grow them up here! One of mum's neighbours tried growing them in large pots and they grew to about 6 ft but never flowered. In the end they disposed of them as they were not earning their keep!
