Again, some lovely photos.........Just love the one I voted for.......it was really well taken and made me feel 'drawn' into it.............gorgeous ;D
Lovely photos, but the one I voted for I thought was just that little bit different. One point I would make, should close-ups of flowers be in Scenes.....I realise that the members who posted them had no option given that there were only two categories. Will there be a special 'macro' category in future comps. Seems a shame as they are great photos but may not get the votes for this reason.

Good point to raise, GG. A better place for support/comments on this might be in 'Competition Comments' in the 'Photo Talk' board.

I dont think we need TOO many categories GG. So either flower close ups should stay where they are or maybe should be included in the 'Life' Category. I should point out I posted one of the flower close ups. It was the best I could come up with in the time allowed, that fited the category
P.S. Not sure what the appeal was in photo number 9 (the leader at present). I prefered the landscapes myself.

#9 conjured up the image of a father & son working together at the lottie & that rather appealed to me
personally i think this is a great shot for the family album
mundane objects still have the power to evoke strong memories & i'm sure in years to come this image will have the power to bring those memories flooding back for both concerned
I voted for 12 because I want to be there right now!!!
Thanks to everyone who voted for me :D
The boots are mine and my grandson (who is one) just after we had finished down the allotment, me working hard him eating my late strawberries ;D
No. 6 got my vote - I loved the colouring :)
Well done, legendaryone! Lovely photo - I'm very happy to be runner-up to it! :)

Thank you Savage Blue and others that voted for me. You may be interested to know that the photo shows Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour and not some exotic South Pacific location. It was taken from the Brittany Ferry as we made our way back from our holiday in France. I must admit that it did pass my mind as to why we holiday abroad when there is such beauty in this country. I have some other lovely views taken from the ferry so will post them in the Gallery.
Congratulations legendaryone on winning this competition.

i liked yours alot n...it reminded me of a strand of DNA :)
I just loved the peaceful feeling of no 6
I chose 4 for its utilitarian 'beauty' and just couldn't help imagining people sliding down the stair cases in unison ;D
