Title: Lovely morning thanks to A4A people!
Post by: caroline7758 on October 18, 2007, 13:37:08
First I went to collect a loganberry bush from Sid and was given not only a great looking bush but also a dozen chicken eggs, a cup of coffee and directions towards my next stop. Great to meet you, Sid- I'm so envious of your plot right next to your house! Thanks again!
My next stop was the wood shown in Trixiebelle's recent photos. A phone call to her dad got me very detailed directions and I found it without any trouble. A beautiful, tranquil spot, and now I know it's only about 40 minutes away, I'll definitely be going back with my OH and his camera. Thanks Trix and dad!

Aren't A4A people great!

To make the visit to Rosebud even nicer Mary cooked a superb meal for us every evening. and Mary's husband is a delight and made us so welcome and drove us everywhere. Didn't trust Lish and me as we kept getting lost :o
My first meeting with members was last year when Kathi (Prink) kindly invited me for afternoon tea , Pauline was visiting Kathi at the time. Had another visit from them this year when they popped in to see me. Also went with Kathi to meet Cambourne 7 this year.
Most recent "meet" was when I  enjoyed meeting up with Georgie at Wimpole Hall, really enjoyable day.
