2007 has been a bumper year for all my fruit - probably due to our April 'summer'. Actually had to thin the pears out earlier and still had loads to pick. Despite a bit of the dreaded scab they've been really sweet and ever so juicy.
The last ones have begun to fall now but there's one that I've been watching with interest and I didn't want the birds/slugs/etc. having it so I've just picked it............
