Title: new artichoke bed

I have a nice lane of artichoke.I hope they will produce a nice crop next year.

are they green or purple - mine were terrible this year  :'(

It looks good. How old are they?

How did you prepare the bed and how far between plants do you need to space.  I know that they grow into giants and thought that they needed more space than that?

This is a green variety,i hope to sow purple ones next spring.The bed contains very old cowdung.The plants are 1 meter apart,six in a row.I hope to get an artichoke wall next year.
