Title: Never seen this before!
Post by: Grandma on October 10, 2007, 12:01:57
I always cut my oriental poppies right down after their early summer flowering and usually get a second, smaller flush of blooms in late summer/early autumn. But this is really strange.....

.....this one has three 'secondary' buds coming directly out of the main stem! Has anyone ever seen poppies do this before?

Well I've never seen that before, it will look quite amazing if the others flower before the top one fades. Do they usually have a second flush?
