With Almonds. Not enough Almonds. Make up with Brazils or Cashews??

Hi Tim,

Personaly I would not mix almond with other nuts as they have such a distint flavour.

What recipie are you following??

probably too late now but yes I would make them up with any other nut to make a fusion type taste and if crushed then a crunchy one too

what did you do then and was it good  ;D

I had started with brazils, but the Girls said Cashews would be better, So I measured out Cashews.

Having done that, Daughter said that she had lots of Almonds - in a non-nut drawer!!

So - we breathe again.

Having tried Sarah Raven's brilliant recipe for crumble, I am converted to toasted hazlenuts roughly chopped in the processor for all my crumble toppings now! :)

Important to have some identifiable nuts left.
