Title: Exquisa potatoes
Post by: Paulines7 on September 27, 2007, 09:26:36
I saw some Exquisa potatoes in Tesco in the Spring so bought them and planted them.  I dug them up a few days ago and they were perfect.  They had no holes in them from slugs and worms and also no scab.  The yield was more or less the same as my other potatoes.   I will certainly be growing them again.   :D

They are a waxy salad potato and have a lovely taste.   :D

Resurrecting this because it came up in a Google search.  I have found some chitted ones of these in a bag my OH bought from Tescos so they will be going in the plot. Are the a first, second or main crop harvested early?

I am sorry but I don't know whether they are first, second or maincrop.  I just put them in and dig them up when the foliage has died down.

It is recommended that they are steamed rather than boiled.  I hope you enjoy them.   :D
