Cor it needs some dental work..it's got buck teeth ! ;D
I think it's real.
looks concrete to me!
Aaah that is it's cunning disguise you see :D Clever things these gators y'know. Thats why you never see 'em in the city. Blend in they do.
I'd think twice about poking it!
I have voted yes, mainly because the front leg is positioned backwards.
Lauren ::)
I agree with Lauren - definitely real - I hope!
The voting is quite close so I think I'll leave this going until Friday evening. ;D

ooh you tease. I still think it's real ..for the same reason as Lauren..it's leg position.
I reckon it's real or at least it was once! I'm sure I saw him in London zoo once.
Voted no but then again I have had to order new glasses!!!!
I don't think it is real. I think it is a minature stone replica photographed close up to make it look more life-size. However, I am not about to tread on it to make sure!

I have voted 'No', mainly because the front leg is positioned backwards.
I voted yes- think it's enjoying the sun!
Georgie, don't forget the deadline, then you can satisfy our curiosity :)
Hahaha I voted yes, which has put the voting at neck and neck! ;D
Okay, time to reveal the truth. The alligator is real and well done to everyone who got it right. We saw it last weekend at Paradise Park in Broxbourne. ;D

Hah ! I knew I was right lol! Victory Mexican wave from all of us who voted yes! ;D ;D ;D
The front leg backwards is a classic croc/gator movement. Think of them sliding into the water. I saw a lifesized sculpture of an alligator in August,it was posed with both feet forward and it's head up..a typical pose for a piece of art but not a typical pose I would have thought.
Thanks G that was fun !
My mistake was down to my "out of date" glasses :) new ones arriving in 10 days ::)
Thanks Georgie, that was fun. ;D
Lauren ;)
