Title: Snowdrops and snowflakes

Has anyone grown these ?  Is now the right time to plant them and if so where ?
Also any good suppliers ?

They are a bit expensive.  Have you grown snowflakes ?

I can't speak from experience but I do remember reading somewhere that you plant snowdrops "in the green", or after they've flowered. just googled and found this bit of info about it on the Shipton Bulbs website:

Moving snowdrops in the green is fine if it's a question of lifting your own clumps, dividing them and putting them straight back in. I wouldn't buy them like that as they don't like drying out at all, and no plant likes that sort of root disturbance.
