Ha Ha....My great Gran always wore those ones from 1900.
Brings back horror memories from family gatherings and the photos we had. Yuk. Poor Gran (so short) her little legs could never reach the floor so everyone got to see it all :o
Lauren ::)
My Dad was unable to work for years due to illness, he would hang the washing out for Mum when she was at work but absolutely refused to hang her 'barrage balloons' as he called them :)
Ha Ha Lorna. Great name for them ;D
They had so much material in them, I swear they were made from an entire parachute. ;D ;D ;D
Lauren :o
The lady nextdoor to me wears ones like those green ones. I wince everytime I see her put them out. I know I'll not be getting any sun in my garden that day. HUGE they are. ;D
Oh I'm sure we would like to see pics of them. They sound more like one of those sail canopies ;D ;D
Lauren ;D
Hee hee, I'd be arrested for taking pics of her knickers wouldn't I ?!! And what if OH caught me doing it anorl :o ;D ;D
There was an elderly lady that lived up stairs from us when we were growing up. She used to chase us out of the back yard so her dog could play in it.
(we lived in a tenement building) However we used to take revenge when it snowed and she had forgot to take her 1900's knickers in off the washing line.
;D ;D ;D They were tied at the bottom, filled with snow and used as target practice ;D ;D ;D
It drove her nuts ;D ;D ;D
I still rotflmao 35 years later
