Hiya, two weeks ago, I went on a glass fusing and slumping course, in Bristol - it was fantastic, I'm now so enthused that his is what I want to do now, I had so much fun, learnt so much and thouroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
I thought that I'd share with you some of the items that I made;
1st = pair of tiles, one with clear glass on the top and coloured glass on the bottom, the other the opposite way round
2nd = Fused and Slumped bowl, layer of clear glass sandwiching a layer of coloured glass, then slumped into a mould
3rd = little coaster, made for my sailing friend, who let me stay at his house during the course
Any comments gratefully received - esp. form any ex-glass makers, or anyone who might know of a cheap glass kiln!!! ;D
