Hi Guys,
Heres a challange for you.
Imagine that your able to grab a few things from the supermarket before being trapped in your house for 3days. And power/water may be intermittant in which case you have a gas bbq with one side ring as a back up. What kind of main meals can you make???
The kind of thing you have grabbed are spam, corned beef, tinned ham, dried onions, tomatos, peas, beans, baked beans, pasta, rice, tinned tomatos, baked beans, easy garlic, ginger, chilli, and you have some stock cubes.
I have not included dried soya, pasta sauces, eggs or anything fresh as that would be 2 easy :)
But you can take it as read that you have other spices, milk, butter, and oil.
Anyone up to the challange???

Aha, actually happened to us Cam!
Got hit by a hurricane and had no power for over a week, water had to be "dipped" from the tanks under the house as there was no power to drive the pump!
Had our usual box of hurrcane rations which included a tin of ham, tinned tomatoes etc.
I cooked Ham in madeira sauce, mashed potatoes and can't remember what else, for dinner on the barbie!(No side ring on ours!)
Was one of the best meals ever, after a hard day chainsawing fallen trees! (Eaten by candlelight of course! ;D )
:) sounds like you had some intresting times !!
Being veggie, can I swap the spam, ham and corned beef for something else?
cj :)
I was thinking the very same cj ;)
me too, can't stand the stuff :-X :)
rather have beans ;D
Yes I'd need to swap all that tinned meat as well - how many boxes of puy lentils would I get?
Lentils i would probably pick up one as i have never used them... but i would love to know more.
Ok you have one backet of dried soya mince (300g) and two packets of pearl barley (2x150g) YUM and 1 packet of bulger wheet (1x250g)
