I am gathering info on how much rent we pay nation wide. I know there is already a thread on rents but that is an awful lot to print off
So would be greatfull if you would help me out and just put the following.IE
Blackhall Denehome Allotments Rent £20.00 including water. 1 tap every 4 gardens.
Cheers Davy
golborne allotments £50.00 inc water, hose runs to stand pipes on each plot
north sudley liverpool 42 quid, not sure how many taps but seem to be plenty about
Markyate Allotments and Gardens Society £10 a year, or £7.50 for a medium plot or £5 a "little one" (We've never quite got the hand of poles and things) + £1.75 for the Allotment Society or whatever they are called.
Water is paid for by the parish council (we assume) as there is a meter but we've never seen a bill. There are about three taps on the site of 50+ plots.
I would point out that we rent from a farmer, not the council.
Cross Lane Allotments, Sacriston, Durham. Rent £16 (rising to £18 in March) including water. 1 tap to every 4 allotments.
HTH.

Tadcaster Council 13 quid, but for that we get nothing- no water, no society, just the hedges cutting once a year if we're lucky!
Court Lane Birmingham. £27 (£24 for early payment) inc water: approx 1 tap for every 25 plots. Two toilets (his and hers). Grass on unused plots mown a few times a year. The vandals are thrown in free.
Wilton Allotments, Denton, Manchester. £40.00 pa, £20.00 for unemployed or retired. A committee, society, shop, toilets, taps at regular intervals, electric on some plots. Locked gates, and regular police visits due to vandals. (They break into sheds, but don't steal.)
Great Wakering Essex, £18 per 10 rod, £9 per 5 rod. Water approx 1 refilling cystern to every 6-8 plots (I think).
What will you be doing with your info, Davyw1?
