Title: Evening All
Post by: Florain on September 21, 2007, 20:47:12
Just been told that we WILL have a lottie when we move next year. Soooo pleased. OH and I have worked as live-in staff for over 20 years and will at last be able to grow what we want, just for us. We shall be moving from Wiltshire to Yorkshire - East Riding, at the end of March.
I have been dropping in here, every couple of days, for a while now. Nice forum and informative.
We are going to hand in our notice in the morning so think I will now go and have a large sloe gin - home made of course!!
Here's to 2008. Hope it's a better year for everyone.

Hey florian & welcome  ;D

My OH is a wiltshire boy, from melksham originally, and we've just moved up to Lincs, which is where i'm from.

Good luck with your new life 'up north' and pleased to hear you've already got your lottie sorted  8)

Oooo  East Riding is supposed to be nice  :D  I've driven through a couple of times and often thought of moving Yorkshire....   hey ho - pipe dreaming again!

Congrats on getting a lottie!  I'm sure you will have seen the numerous posts on this site from people who are new to gardening and a bit overwhelmed, but if I've read your post correctly you don't seem to be new to this... or am I wrong.

Anyway, nice to have you with us and good luck with the move  ;D
