Yesterday afternoon there was a fairly noisy kerfuffle outside my house, basically teenagers mucking about, as they do. When they'd gone I discovered they'd managed to throw a hulahoop over the lamp-post outside my house: there are only two ways to remove it - break it, or up and over!
Has anyone else had experience of this kind of behaviour? Or done something like it themselves sometime in their murky past? 'fess up then ... ...
cut it in half and use it as a cloche support, someone's just put this on another thread ;D
I wouldn't do that - I want to see how long it stays there! I'm sure some sniffy neighbours will move it soon enough.
That's genius ;D If we had people like this working on some of this country's problems there might be some hope ;)
That hula hoop antic reminds me of a *Candid Camera* style TV stunt. Where a poor guy left his bike padlocked to his usual lamp post and when he returned the TV crew had put the lamp post through the center of his bike using a man in a cherry picker ;D ;D ;D
Lauren :o
I used to do that with bicycle tyres when i was but a lad ;D
Yeah same here theres one on the estate i grew up on still hanging on the top. Theres also a pair of those knacker thingys hanging from the phone lines. I'm sure they called em knackers those hard balls on string that were banned because the were breaking kids wrists. Happy days.
Not knackers, Klackers. Easy mistake ;D
Ha Ha Ha...Knackers from a phone line.......Now that is something you won't see often.... :o ;D ;D :o
Lauren ;)
That should be a law for paedo's, hang their knacker's on telephone lines. ;D
Respect to the kids, must have taken some dedication to do that. You have to admire the determination.
I cannot tell a lie, we used to use bicycle tyres.
Thats such a brill pic ;D
I showed my teenager and he is laughing his head off ;D Think ive put an idea in his head.....lol
Will be checking lamposts in the morning ;)
Northener as i was reading the post i was thinking of how people tried to get the klackers hanging onto the telephone wires, which they invariably did sucessfully as there were so many hanging around....lol
Remember my Mum giving my boys an old pair that she found lying around which one day came in handy as a useful weapon as i chased ex husband down the drive :-[
Ohhhh the tales i could tell......lol
Yeah they could hurt
It was'nt just klackers we threw on the lines,
we also tied the laces together on "sandshoes"
and threw them up as well. :-[ ;D
Am quite disappointed with the teenagers around here.
There was a bed base with wheels sitting outside the next doors flats for over a month and we live at the top of a hill.
Could you imagine the fun you could have had with that when you were a kid?
...Or is it just me? :-X
