Had just seen off the 9 family & friends that we cooked for over the w/e, when a dear neighbour brought in 30 lbs of these.............!!

NOT Victorias - so what??

if they stay that colour I would say a gage - possibly cambridge, early transparent or oullins but a bit late for oullins now

You can rule out Oullins Golden Gage, as it is really golden, and even in Glasgow they were finished in August.

Pershore was a possibility, but too late for that also.
