Started my plot end of July. 6ft Stinging nettles was all that could be seen
(http://)
Since then I have been clearing beds - now got a cardboard city
(//)
Finally today I have planted leeks, spring cabbage, Cauliflours - look at my lovely bed!!!!

Gonna clear another bed ready for the garlic and onion sets I have just bought. The bag of onions had about 150 in it , can anyone tell me wether they will keep to plant more through next year???
AAAAAHHHHH does anyone know how to link my pickies????
Have you got them on a hosting site like Photobucket?
???
If you are using PHOTOBUCKET, pick the bottom option (below the picture in your album)
IMG Code...Just hi-light it with your mouse, copy and paste it into your reply. You DON'T need to *Insert Image* from the list above where you write your reply in the message box; just copy and paste.
I hope this makes sense.
Lauren :)
Lets try again!!!
This was my allotment at the beginning 50 metres of solid nettles

After a few weeks, the nettles at the back is 15 metres and I will do that another year!!!

I found some raspberries and build a little bed ready for strawberries next year

My first plants are finally in - cabbage, and leeks

Many thanks for your help with the pickies - easy when you know how
Wow Don,
You got things shaping up nicely. Keep up the good work.
Foot by foot, yard by yard you will get there.
(Thank heavens for the new EU ruling, I haven't a clue about metres)
Lauren ;D ;D ;D
Cheers Lauren,
I am getting fit if nothing else!!!!
Re Metres v Yards, inches - I am a universal baby taught both at school. easy to remember 1 yard = 1 metre or 40" or 3ft thereabouts. My allotment is 50 yards or 164 ft
WOW You have done well :o, it's such hard work but very rewarding when you look back at how much you've improved the plot!!
Well done indeed, some of our regulars haven't put that much effort in all year!
::)
Thanks Saddad and glosterwobble, it has been hard work indeed. Especially since the ground has dried out, I am onto a bed and so far it has taken me two mornings to dig just half the bed, its like digging conctrete :'( :'( :'(
But once it's done I am then planting my onions and garlic - cant wait love planting!!!
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT
