i need to reline my small wildlife pond! i think about now is probobly the right time before the frogs get dug in the mud ??? should i provide them with a safe place while i am doing it or just shove them on the garden and hope they return
i know i,m being silly feeling like a heartless landlord but i have a leak so it must be done

Just shove the frogs in the garden they will come back after you have made the changes. I would check for other things living in the pond though in mine there are currently hundreds of baby newts and a load of dragonfly/damselfly larvae if you have anything like that they would need to be temporarily relocated.
have started at last! have removed all the stones around the edge and on the ledges, removed some huge yellow iris root I think I will put them in a pot when I replace them as the took over. the frogs are very unhappy they keep jumping back in the water, put water and weed in a bucket found 2 taddies. have left a bit of water in old liner with most of the weed on the side so any creatures can get back in. i was surprised to see loads of slug or snail eggs under the stones and edge of the liner i have stepped on them but don,t know if this kills them any suggestions? hope to finish tomorrow if my back holds out

In a large pan (or wok) heat the vegetable oil.
Add lemongrass, garlic, chili and frogs' legs, and saute, adding curry powder, fish sauce, salt, pepper, sugar to taste and chicken stock.
Bring to a boil. Cook another few minutes, remove from heat and serve.
