Title: Planting leeks???
Post by: pjb on September 10, 2007, 19:44:43
I've bought some leek plants that are "ready for transplanting" what's the best way to plant them? is the dig a small hole and water but don't fill in the hole method right? (hope that makes sense) What would you recomend?
Thanks.  :-\

It works for me-soak the soil, dib a hole(an old spade/fork shaft does fine)-drop them in and water again. It`s a bit late in the season but you should still get a decent crop
