Title: I've got Dhudi
Post by: Eristic on September 10, 2007, 00:43:24
Much to the annoyance of the entire local Indian population, I've got Dhudi while everyone else seems to have failed, including the Lady's who gave me the seeds..

I think there may be a problem with lack of pollinators. The first couple are now at edible size but they can get much larger yet.

Gosh! Never seen one growing before, although I have seen them in the shops here.

What do you "Dhu" with it now? Recipes please?

;)

My favourite is to bbq it - I call it "Dhudi Fired" (Dodi Fayed)

(that was a joke - I have no idea how to cook it)

That's brilliant they look magnificent.

I wonder if you could grow bitter gourd in this country. I love that. Have you tried it Eristic?
