Title: radish greens recipe
Post by: pigeonseed on September 07, 2007, 21:28:25
Someone gave me two moolis and they have loads of leaves - so I decided to find out if you could eat them and discovered this DELICIOUS recipe - it's my favourite new recipe now.

http://www.bawarchi.com/cookbook/greenleafy5.html

It has a kind of delicious almost bitter flavour. Yummy. Now all I have are my own little red radishes and the amount of greens on them is too small.

I'm growing mooli next year!

I tried this with kale and it still tasted lovely and I think the weird but delicious taste is actually the sauce not the leaves.

By the way I used peanut butter not peanuts.

You must feel this was ignored? Actually I copied the recipe and hope to try it - am growing mooli now but dont want to take off the leaves just yet. I'm grateful for a good sauce to go with leaves so will try it with something else. Thanks
