Title: Parsnip Question
Post by: Emagggie on September 06, 2007, 22:03:39
The leaves on some of my parsnips have gone brown and crispy looking :o
Can't find anything about it in my veg expert book, Does anyone know why this could have happened and if it will be detremental to the parsnips?

Really glad to hear that Richard, I was begining to think my luck was right out, what with tomato blight too. It is a bit disheartening when things don't go according to plan. :-\

Most of mine look very healthy, except the odd few plants that sound just like yours Maggie, sounds like they are turning brown naturally so it shouldn't be anything to worry about, also Chrispea you said it has been v dry since June  :o , are you living in the desert 8)  or did I missunderstand your answer.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
